Management of Andropaus
The good news is that male hormone imbalance is correctable. Initially, a medical history and physical examination should be performed, along with an evaluation to determine free and total testosterone levels, estradiol (estrogen), DHEA, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), growth hormone levels, and a PSA blood test are required to establish deficiencies and imbalances. If therapies are indicated, a personalized Andropause Program can be developed with a multi-faceted approach that includes proper lifestyle, nutrition, nutritional supplements, dietary restrictions and exercise recommendations as well as testosterone supplementation when indicated.
